Collective Fall Protection Solutions

Every day contractors require regular access to rooftop areas to carry out essential building repair and maintenance work. Under the Work at Height Regulations 2007, there is a legal requirement to ensure a safe and efficient maintenance regime for those working at height. Without a correctly installed and tested system in place you can be held responsible for the safety of personnel working on your roofs.

When considering which type of safety equipment to use, the HSE advise a hierarchy of options to be considered. First you should consider if working at height could be avoided completly. Can other options such as extendable equipment or pre-assembled structures on the ground be used instead?

If working at height cannot be avoided, the first consideration should be to use collective fall protection equipment to provide protection for anyone who has to work at height.

Featured here is the KeeGuard roof edge protection system which meets the requirements of EN 13122 PT. 3 and does not penetrate the roof membrane.
