Kee Safety Shanghai has recently designed and supplied KEELINE lifeline systems for ThyssenKrupp Engine Components in Nanjing, China.
The ThyssenKrupp Engine Components building has a metal roof with many skylights throughout the structure. Rooftop maintenance work, like cleaning gutters around the roof edges or checking and maintaining skylight hubs, should be carried out twice a month. Due to lack of any fall protection equipment, access to the roof and all maintenance jobs were forbidden.
KEELINE Fall Protection System
Kee Safety provided a safety solution to this problem and recommended its KEELINE horizontal lifeline system. The KEELINE fall protection system was designed by Kee Safety’s technical department and installed by our authorised Chinese fall protection partner. The installed system was then tested and checked by Kee Safety’s Engineer before being handed over to the customer.
To make sure that the fall protection system is used correctly, a one day’s training was provided to the operators.
