Pre-assembled Handrail Systems

The Kee Klamp^® Pre-assembled Uprights range has been specifically designed to supply an ‘off-the-shelf’, pre-constructed handrail system. The pre-assembled handrail uprights significantly increase the speed of installation, subsequently reducing our customers' labour costs. The uprights are constructed, as standard, to achieve a finished height of 1100mm, complete with a half-height horizontal mid-rail (550mm). These versatile pre-constructed posts can accommodate non-straight or uneven sites, such as slopes, making them the ideal solution for constructing ramps without tube bending. Most guardrail configurations can be constructed using a combination of the kits available.

  Yes. The Kee Klamp Pre-assembled Safety Barrier Systems brochure includes the load charts. Our recommendations are based upon the rail diameter being BS EN 10255 medium wall tubing and the upright being BS EN 39 heavy wall tubing. They follow the Design Loads stated in BS 6180. The bay sizes are calculated using the relevant fitting or fixing configuration for the upright type. To achieve bigger bay sizes than those recommended, don't hesitate to contact Kee Safety Ltd for further details.
