The Role

You will grow our presence in the UK by winning new business and developing strategic accounts. Expect a mix of field sales, account management and solution selling. Time every week will be spent with customers, at branches and on sites, scoping opportunities, preparing quotations and closing work. You will work closely with marketing and operations to deliver a first class customer experience and measurable commercial results.

What you will do

  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline, convert qualified opportunities and deliver agreed revenue and margin targets
  • Grow a portfolio of distributors, merchants and contractors, increasing share of wallet and retention
  • Visit branches and sites across the UK to scope requirements, carry out basic surveys, prepare proposals and follow through to order and handover
  • Partner with marketing to shape campaigns, collateral and events, provide market feedback and support cross sell and upsell activity
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, produce weekly forecasts and share clear monthly reports on activity and results
  • Monitor competitors and market trends, translate insight into practical actions for sales, product and marketing teams
  • Resolve customer issues quickly by coordinating with technical, customer service and operations
  • Represent Kee Safety at trade shows, customer events and training sessions

Skills and experience

  • Proven success in B2B field sales within construction, building products, industrial safety or a related technical environment
  • Comfortable selling through distribution and directly to contractors and end users
  • Commercially sharp with a clear grasp of pricing, margin, rebates and negotiation
  • Strong communicator who can present, influence and close at multiple levels
  • Organised and resilient, able to manage a busy schedule and travel across the UK
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK

Nice to have

Familiarity with fall protection or adjacent categories, for example BS 13700 permanent guardrails, BS 7883 anchors and BS EN 795 anchor devices. Technical curiosity and a willingness to learn are more important than prior product knowledge.

Education

A degree in business, sales or a related field is helpful, not essential. We value attitude, learning agility and results.
