Free-standing Kee Guard systems are built using counter-weight engineering. Their simple cantilever design provides superior strength and safety in even the harshest of environments.

Installations are wind speed calculated to ensure compliance with the BS EN 13700 standard that requires wind loadings calculations relating to the topography, height and location of the project.
All fittings are galvanized to BS EN ISO 1461 and equipped with case hardened steel setscrews. For harsher environments we offer an aluminium option.
Minimum components, including unique open style fitting, allows for quick installation which keeps costs down.
No welding, bending or threading on site and no special tools are needed for construction. Recycled PVC weights are easy to handle and position which reduces installation time.
Sections can be easily added or taken down. This allows for reconfiguration on site if needed to suit the new edge protection requirements or for reconstruction elswhere.
Bases are made from recycled PVC. Steel railing and components can be fully recycled.

One of the key points set out in the BS 13700 states that when you specify and install a permanent counterweighted guardrail, you need to carry out a site specific wind calculations. This means you need to take into account location, height of building and exposure level.
