This gate is sized at 1m wide, and can be easily cut to size on site. The reversible hinges can be fitted on the left or right side of an opening, making installation easier and more flexible. The spring-loaded hinge mechanism ensures that the gate will always close, maintaining a safe barrier to protect people when working at heights.
These double gates are sized at 2 x 0.9m wide and they can be easily cut to size on site. They work best for larger openings greater than 1m wide and the maximum width for double gates is 1.8m. They're spring loaded to automatically close behind the user, and its high performance hinge mechanism gives it extended life.
The full height gate is designed for ladders. Standing at 1100mm tall and featuring an aluminium toe board, it provides additional protection to those working at any level. The full height gate is fully adjustable and can accommodate openings up to 1m.

BS EN 14122 standard was revised in 2016 which had an impact on the design requirements of industrial safety gates. This revision stipulated that the distance between the bottom rail and the flooring must be less than 500mm. There are two ways to achieve this: use a full height gate, which fills that void or use our Kee Gate safety gate, which features a larger D bend to meet these requirements.
The gates supplied to meet the older BS EN 14122 standard should ideally be replaced or upgraded to meet the new 2016 standard. The drawing above shows dimensions of our Kee Gate safety gate.
